From Just Solve the File Format Problem
From what I can tell, The Newsroom and The Newsroom Pro were desktop publishing programs developed by Springboard. There were versions for Atari, Apple II, C64, MS-DOS. Note that XnView claims to support "NSR - NewsRoom" format.
This document [1] says that the Atari version has just a 14-byte header, which contradicts the statement that it has a signature at offset 23. Of course, there could be many different Newsroom formats. It would be nice to have some references regarding this format. Jsummers (talk) 15:42, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
