Steganography aka Staganography aka Hide Secrets in Picture aka Hide Secret Passwords in Picture Encryptor by ClickOk (Kal Bashir) is a Win32 steganography program for 24-bit BMP files.

It is sometimes packaged with FortKnox aka Hide and Lock Folders aka PalmTree

It only supports a single file and there is no password option, but it does claim encryption is taking place ('Derived from our Blowfish, CryptoAPI and Rijndael (AES) algorithm / routine lab tests').

The carrier BMP needs to be 9 times larger than the file you're trying to hide

The demo version is severely limited, only allowing the hiding of a text file containing the phrase 'testing this software'. The version included with PalmTree 3.3 seems less restricted but it doesn't support decryption. Fortunately, Steganography 2.8 demo can decrypt files from PalmTree 3.3

An independent analysis of FortKnox 3.55 determined that is uses the 2 LSB, no encryption is taking place, it can't handle 0's in hidden files (corrupting the carrier file), and it does no checking of the carrier file (ie it treats all carrier files as if they are 24-bit bitmaps, corrupting them if they aren't)
