Pu-crunch
Pu-crunch (also written Pucrunch) is a compression utility that creates self-decompressing data objects for use on the Commodore 64. It was developed by Pasi Ojala.
The documentation is not very clear about what it does. It looks a lot like an executable compression utility (bearing in mind that the C64 doesn't have the clearest distinction between executable and non-executable files), though it may have other uses.
Only the decompressor runs on the C64. The compression utility runs on various other platforms, usually including DOS.
Identification
Undetermined. It shouldn't be too hard to identify the compressed files, but there are different versions and options to account for, and there may be other similar formats that could be mistaken for it.
