Primavera P6
From Just Solve the File Format Problem
Primavera P6 is project management software released in 2007 to replace the older P3 software[1]. Oracle purchased the software in 2008 and it is still used today[2]. Projects can be saved to the proprietary XER format or a newer XML based format[3].
Format Information
- XER files begin with the ASCII string
ERMHDRfollowed by the software version and date[4]. Can contain multiple projects[5]. - XER file may differ in the contractor version[6].
- XER parser exists using excel[7].
