MEGALITE, also written MEGALiTE, is an executable compression utility for DOS EXE files. It is credited to "ThE KiLLeR of MEGATEAM 'n CTF".

Discussion

Only version "1.20a+" can readily be found. The documentation hints that there was at least one earlier version.

MEGALITE files are almost the same as PKLITE, but some of the file structure is different, to make them difficult to identify. The decompression code in files made by MEGALITE v1.20a+ is almost byte for byte identical to that in files compressed by PKLITE v1.14.
