Binpatch (Jaap Korthals Altes)

binpatch is a binary file "diff" utility, and associated patch file format. It was developed by Jaap Korthals Altes, author of the bed binary file editor.
Note that there are a fair number of other utilities with the same name.
Identification
binpatch files begin with bytes 0xFA 0xDE.
