BATCOM (Wenham Software)
From Just Solve the File Format Problem
BATCOM (also written "Batcom") is a DOS application that compiles Batch files. It was distributed by the Wenham Software Company, and credited to Lee Pelletier.
It apparently compiles a batch file to OBJ format, then uses a third-party linker to create an EXE file.
Batch files intended to be compiled with BATCOM evidently use the .BC file extension, instead of .BAT. It's not clear why.
