It is the successor of Imacon 3F.

[edit] Format

The 3FR format is based on TIFF. Although it may use some DNG tags, it is not DNG. The full-resolution image apparently uses a variant of lossless JPEG compression.

[edit] Identification

TIFF tag 271 ("Make") of the first IFD has the value "Hasselblad". A TIFF or DNG developed from a 3FR file will also have "Hasselblad" in tag 271, see MakerNote values for more accurate identification.
