I can't decide if cryptographic hash functions should go in Error detection and correction, Encryption, Security, or in a new category. Maybe a new Cryptography category with Encryption and Cryptographic hash (etc.) as subcategories. Jsummers (talk) 16:35, 21 April 2013 (UTC)
- Wherever it ends up in the taxonomy, you can add additional categories with "Category" links at the bottom of the page, so that it is categorized in all relevant sections, not just the one where it's been placed in the menu. Dan Tobias (talk) 20:15, 21 April 2013 (UTC)
