CATPart (CATIA Part Description/Model v5) is one of a number of file formats used by the CATIA 3D product design software. It is used in CATIA version 5. The equivalent in version 4 is CATIA V4 Model.

Files appear to start with the ASCII sequence V5_CFV2 (hex bytes 56 35 5F 43 46 56 32).
