Enhanced CD/CD-Extra/CD-Plus (Blue Book) and others are a Multi-Session CD Layout which comprises Audio Tracks CD-DA (Red Book) and a Data Session CD-ROM XA (Yellow Book). [1][2][3] Also used for a short time to add copy-protection to some Sony/BMG releases.[4]
There are three main types of Enhanced CD's, with Multi-Session being the most commonly used.[5][6]
