Thanks for fixing up GME; I'm not sure where I got the info that it somehow had something to do with Monkey Island; when somebody created that page (with just one link, no explanatory text, no links or categories or anything) I followed the link and tried to figure out what the heck the thing was, and found a lot of stuff in German (which I don't speak) and somehow wound up at some video that showed a Monkey Island game, so that's where I picked up the apparent connection. Looking at it now I can't even find which link I followed in the first place. Those Github projects can be a bit confusing to me; maybe Github experts know exactly where to go for more information, but people less knowledgeable about it can be lost trying to figure out where the basic description of a project may be, if the name of it doesn't ring any bells. :Don't worry, that's why this is a Wiki, so that other people can fill out more information or fix things :) If you search for "tiptoi" you find images on what this thing is. It works with specially prepared books that contain almost-hidden dot patterns that the sensor in the pen picks up and then plays back a soundfile. The GitHub project is reverse-engineering the format for the dots and for the files that are downloaded to the pen. As such it's not really a Game File Format (even though the TipToi itself is kinda like a kid's "game" if you will). So maybe it needs reclassification at some point (into what? I can't even think of a category for these kinds of file formats...) --Darkstar (talk) 08:21, 17 April 2015 (UTC)

Don't worry, that's why this is a Wiki, so that other people can fill out more information or fix things :) If you search for "tiptoi" you find images on what this thing is. The GitHub project is reverse-engineering the format for the dots and for the files that are downloaded to the pen.
