Minecraft generated structures format is a data format used in the Minecraft game. This and other Minecraft formats are extensively documented in the Minecraft Gamepedia wiki.
This format was used for files within the folder of files describing a level (files named Village.dat, Fortress.dat, Temple.dat, Mineshaft.dat, Stronghold.dat, Monument.dat, EndCity.dat, and Mansion.dat), but is no longer used in current versions, which use the Minecraft chunk format.
