PCX2EXE is a DOS utility that converts a PCX image file to an EXE file that, when executed, displays the image. It was developed by Mike Williams.

Its successor, TICO (The Image Compiler), is a graphics application that includes a version of PCX2EXE as a component.

Identification

Undetermined. Files produced by PCX2EXE are derived from one of the available "executable stubs", which may be distributed in individual files (STUB*.EXE), or in a single file (PCXHOST.LIB). But it's not clear how to identify a stub as such.
