QFC
From Just Solve the File Format Problem
QFC (QuickFileCollection) is simple a non-compressed archive file format, and associated software for DOS. It was developed by George Lyapko.
Identification
QFC files from early versions of the software (e.g. 1.3) start with bytes 0x1a 'F' 'C' 0x1a
.
Files from later versions (e.g. 2.02c) start with 0x1a 'Q' 'F' 0x1a
.
Best guess is that the signature change occurred as of QFC v2.0. This is backed up by IDArc's change log. But the QFC change log entry for v2.0 states "format of QFC is changed".
