Fontlab is font design/editing software originally developed for Windows but later was developed for Macintosh as well. Fontlab 2005 the code for Fontographer in 2005 and continues to maintains both.[1]

The native file format for Fontlab is .VFB.[2][3] There is a free VFB to UFO tool available.[4]
