CorelCHART was software included with CorelDRAW version 3, 4 & 5. CorelCHART was able to make vector graphics charts and other tables using CorelDRAW symbols[1].

CorelCHART was released with CorelDRAW in 1992, but dropped in 1994 with the released of CorelDRAW 6[2]. CorelDRAW 6 for Windows95[3] does not show CorelCHART included, but CorelDRAw 6 for Macintosh[4] does.

File Format

CCH files have a TIFF header, but are incompatible with the TIFF format.

  • Versions 3 & 4 have the header values "49 49 2A 00 B6 7A 00 00 33 44 46 2E 30 30 30 32 20 30 34 64 65 63 39 31" or "3DF.0002 04dec91"
  • Version 5 have the header values "49 49 2A 00 56 FA 00 00 43 6F 72 65 6C 43 48 41 52 54 20 56 35 2E 30 00" "CorelCHART V5.0".
