MINIX file system

The MINIX file system is the file system of the MINIX operating system, a Unix-like system. It was also used in early versions of Linux, but was switched to different file systems due to the limitations of this one, such as 14-character filenames (later extended to 30). MINIX was designed more for teaching than for use in production environments.
