The version control software Fossil stores the main body of information for a repository in a "repository database", a single SQLite-based file with the extension ".fossil". This is unlike the more widely-used Git and Mercurial, which store their repository information in a directory structure. Another large difference from these is that Fossil stores a wiki, forum, documentation, and bug tracking system inside the repository itself.
