LB, aka Low Bitrate is a audio format optimized for low bitrates (44kHz, stereo at the default level: ~20 kbps), and can produce quite good quality at this bitrate. The player and packer were both created by Dmitry Shmunk. The player & packer are both for DOS, but it has a Windows player (not packer).
Identification
Apparently the LB files packed with LBPack starts with 'R' 'I' 'F' 'F' ?? ?? ?? ?? 'L' 'B' 'i' 't'
, which it's based on RIFF.
