Ghost Image or GHO is a hard disk drive image format associated with the Ghost or Norton Ghost software.
GHS file is a Norton Ghost Spanned Image. When creating an image file of a disk or partition that is larger than 2 GB, such as a FAT32 partition or an NTFS partition, Ghost automatically splits the image file into two or more smaller files called segments or spans, so that each is 2 GB or smaller.
