Canon RAW 3 (CR3) is a raw image format used by Canon cameras. It replaced Canon RAW 2.
Contents[hide] |
[edit] Organization
Canon CR3 files are based on ISO Base Media File Format (ISO/IEC 14496-12) with custom tags[1]. They use a new CRX codec instead of the TIFF format[2].
[edit] Compression
Canon CR3 files can use lossless "RAW" or lossy "C-RAW" compressions[3].
