CP8616 (IBM Code Page 8616, EBCDIC 8616, CCSID 8616) is a character encoding for the EBCDIC character set with some extended characters in an 8-bit range. This code page encodes Hebrew characters in addition to Latin letters. It is an update of CP424 (adding directional controls at positions DB, DE, DF, FB, FC, FD, and FE) and was later updated as CP12712.
