CP4971 (IBM Code Page 4971, EBCDIC 4971, CCSID 4971) is a character encoding for the EBCDIC character set with some extended characters in an 8-bit range, aimed in this case at the Greek language. It is an updated version of CP875 (which was in turn an update of CP423) with the euro symbol at position FC. It was later further updated in CP9067.
