Rock Ridge (Rock Ridge Interchange Protocol; RRIP) is an extension of ISO 9660 (CD-ROM) format to support POSIX (Unix-style) per-file metadata. It includes support for longer and less-restrictive filenames, file permissions, and timestamps.

Rock Ridge is standardized as IEEE P1282. It is built on top of System Use Sharing Protocol (SUSP).
