ISO 646-YU (646-YU, ISO IR-141, IR-141) is one of several 7-bit character encodings in the ISO/IEC 646 series which are national variants, replacing some of the ASCII characters with other characters suitable for particular languages. This one is aimed at Yugoslavia, which isn't a country any more, but was at the time the standard was promulgated. It is one of the encodings that is sometimes labeled YUSCII.
