Description
FIG is a file format for figures supported by the xfig drawing package (X Window System) and the transfig suite, which transforms .fig files into other formats suitable for printing or embedding in other objects (such as LaTeX documents.) Although primarily a vector graphics format it supports embedded raster images and embedded encapsulated postscript.
