Nokia Startup Logo (NSL) is a raster image format used by some Nokia phones. It stores bi-level images, whose size is always 84×48 pixels.
There might be other "Nokia Startup Logo" formats, used by other models of phones, whose format is different from the one described here.

Format
NSL appears to use a variant of IFF, with segment lengths stored in 2 bytes instead of 4.
Identification
Files begin with the ASCII string "FORM
". They also contain "NSLD
", and probably "VERS
" and "MODL
".
Software
- Gammu can read NSL files, though it's not clear if it can write them to a more portable format.
