FoxPro (originally FoxBase) started as a "clone" of dBase, and contained a similar programming language to the dBase programming language. Originally released by Fox Software, it was eventually acquired by Microsoft. A revamped version called Visual FoxPro was later released.

It's apparently also something used to call coyotes.
