Com4Mail is a DOS utility that converts a COM file to one with the same functionality, but whose byte values and formatting make it suitable for direct inclusion in an email. It was developed by Juri Krasilnikov.
[edit] Identification
The converted files are very formulaic. For instance, they start with ASCII "BEGIN===tfud#of_Com4Mail_file#
".
[edit] Software
- BBS# 1 → FOR-DOS/COM4MAIL.ZIP - Com4Mail 1.0
- (archived website) → archived copies of COM4MAIL.HA - Com4Mail 1.0 (HA format)
Note: The two "1.0" versions listed above are not the same. It's unclear if they are functionally identical.
[edit] Sample files
- xain.zip → XAIN.COM
