'''MacRomanian''' (not to be confused with [[MacRoman]]) is a character encoding used on classic Mac OS, designed for Romania. It is mostly similar to [[MacRoman]]. MacRomanian (not to be confused with MacRoman) is a character encoding used on classic Mac OS, designed for Romania. It is mostly similar to MacRoman. The first half of the characters are the same as ASCII. Code charts seem to differ on whether character F0 is unassigned or corresponds to a private-use character in Unicode (though this seems to be true of other Mac encodings as well).
See Macintosh encodings for related encodings.
