ProDiscover is digital forensics software used to create and process disk image files.^[1][2]

EVE image files are proprietary files^[3] created by ProDiscover software. They consist of a 16 byte file header 44465420496D616765 (DFT Image), then an additional Data header before the disk data.^[4]

ProDiscover Software Basic version was free for many years, but around 2014 required a license.
