DRY is an obscure compressed archive format.

[edit] Discussion

Most of what little is known about DRY comes from a likely-hacked copy of BitWare (Windows 3.x software), which uses the format. Refer to the "Sample files" section below.

DRY was developed by a company named Peripheral Sciences. A file named HYDRATE.DLL decompresses the format. The DRY software might be named HYDRA.

IDArc suggests that DRY is known as "Dehydrated" format.

[edit] Identification

Files start with ASCII "-H2O".
