Cube LUTs are Look-up Tables originally developed by IRIDAS, but later purchased by Adobe in 2011.[1] LUTs are used to map one color space to another, the tables can be used to describe a wide range of purposes, from simple gamma adjustments to complex HDR image processing.[2]

Format Information
CUBE files contain either a one-dimensional tables or three-demential tables. They are plain text ASCII files with either LUT_1D_SIZE
or LUT_3D_SIZE
text in the header portion of the file.[3][4]
