Movie Master was a screen writing application built for DOS by the Comprehensive Video Supply company in 1987.[1][2] The software was a word processing software with special formatting for screenplays and scripts. Later in 1996, the company released a redesigned Windows version under a new developer.[3]

SCR are script files created by Movie Master software. Version 3 and 4 files are different than version 5 files.[4]
