Alembic

Alembic is "merely" a hierarchical sampled data storage format. It is intended to be used to store a baked representation of scene data.^[1] It is an open source geometry caching format that promotes interoperability between authoring tools.^[2]

Format Information

• ABC files use the HDF5 container format,^[3]
