LightWave Object (or LightWave 3D Object) is a family of IFF-based formats associated with the LightWave (a.k.a. LightWave 3D) 3D graphics software. A file stores a 3D object, which might be referenced by a LightWave Scene file.
The following IFF "FORM types" are known:

LWOB
: Lightwave Object -
LWLO
: LightWave Layered Object -
LWO2
: Successor to LWOB/LWLO, first supported by LightWave 6.0
