The INTEGER type in QuickBASIC stores non-floating-point numbers from -32,768 to 32,767. INTEGER types can be defined with the % suffix.
Syntax
Using the DIM statement:
DIM i AS INTEGER i = 38 PRINT i
Using the suffix:
i% = 38 PRINT i%
