CMP is a compressed file format associated with the COMPRESS component of NEW-DOS. NEW-DOS is a software package for DOS, developed by André Olejko. Almost all of the information about it is in German.

The 25212.ZIP file below is a NEW-DOS 6.23 shareware trial, which expired on 1997-12-01. Suggest using a DOS emulator that lets you change the system clock, such as DOSBox-X.
