LHice, a.k.a. ICE, is an unauthorized modified version of the LHarc v1.13c compression utility for DOS. It calls itself "LHice version 1.14". Its creator is unknown.
It is apparently functionally identical to LHarc v1.13c, except that the LHA files it creates have the extension .ICE instead of .LZH. Also, the self-extracting archives it creates have minor differences -- refer to LHA/LHarc self-extracting archive.
There are also at least two more similar pranks, "LHarc v1.14a" and "v1.14β", that seem to be related to LHice, though they're not named LHice.
