Image Gallery (Alchemy Mindworks)

Image Gallery is an image cataloging application for DOS, developed by Alchemy Mindworks. Its native Gallery (.GAL) file format contains image thumbnails, and other metadata including comments, keywords, and the original file location.

Thumbnails may be monochrome (bi-level), grayscale, or color. Support for color was introduced in version 1.1e.

Identification

GAL files start with ASCII "ALCHGLRY".
