Microsoft Photo Story was software used to create photo slideshows. Software allowed importing of photos and audio to create a WMV or VCD[1][2]. The project files used to create the final video were PSC for Photo Story 2 and WP3 for Photo Story 3.

Both PSC and WP3 project files are compressed CAB files containing all photos and audio needed for the project[3]. Along with a "project.xml" file containing all parameters for the story.
