See TG4 for other formats with that name.

TG4 is a bi-level raster image format associated with Image Machines Corporation of Herndon, VA. It is used by their IMageCenter (often written with a capital M) product, and maybe other products. It uses CCITT Group 4 compression. TG4 stands for "Tiled CCITT Group 4".

It is similar, but generally not identical, to JEDMICS C4 format, which was also designed by Image Machines.

[edit] Identification

More research needed. Some files begin with (hex) 80 00 00 00, like JEDMICS C4, but others do not.
