Apple Final Cut Pro and Final Cut Pro X are able to export XML for interchange between versions and other software[1].

Final Cut Pro XML Interchange Format[2] uses "XMEML".
Final Cut Pro X XML[3] uses the extension fcpxml which provides interchange between other audio & video editing software[4].
