LHice, a.k.a. ICE, is an unauthorized modified version of the LHarc v1.13c compression utility for DOS. It calls itself "LHice version 1.14". Its creator is unknown.
It is apparently functionally identical to LHarc v1.13c, except that the LHA files it creates have the extension .ICE instead of .LZH.
Disambiguation
LHice is not to be confused with ICE Compression Library, a.k.a. ICE.DLL, a Windows 3.x LHA library by Stephen Darlington: iceb3r1.zip.
