PUT is an obscure file compression utility for DOS, developed by Scott Jennings. It uses Huffman coding. The decompression utility is named GET.

It is not to be confused with the somewhat less obscure PUT/GET archiver software by MicroFox.

Its compressed files don't have any obvious identifying features, and there doesn't seem to be a standard filename extension.
