DRW is a format used by early versions of the Caddie CAD program to save design drawings. It is a proprietary format. With version 10 of Caddie, it was replaced with a standardized version of the DWG format (as used by AutoCAD and standardized by the Open Design Alliance). The early versions of Caddie also supported an ASCII-based transfer format CEX (Caddie Exchange format), and were also able to import and export DWG (and also DXF) files even though this was not yet its native format.
