DVR-MS (Microsoft Digital Video Recording) is a proprietary ASF-based mutimedia format. It was used by Windows XP Media Center Edition, and some later versions of Windows Media Center. It was succeeded by WTV.

There's probably no simple way to distinguish DVR-MS from other ASF formats. It can surely be done by parsing the file, maybe by looking for an Extended Content Description descriptor named "DVR File Version".
