Vivid scene description is our name for the scene description format used by the Vivid ray tracer software by Stephen B. Coy. It is also referred to as Vivid input format or Vivid script. Each version of Vivid may use a different variant of it. Vivid's output format is Vivid IMG.

Identifiers

The main input file uses a .v file extension. Secondary files included by that file may use any extension, but .vc, .vo, and .vs are suggested by the documentation.
