ZSQ is a file compression utility developed by Wayne Chin and Arvind Kumar. It describes itself as "File Squeezer using LZW compression algorithm". The companion decompression utility is ZUSQ.

It belongs to the Squeeze/Crunch ecosystem, though it's not clear exactly how it fits into it. Files use the same naming conventions as Crunch.

Identification

Files apparently start with ASCII "WACK".
